Wrestling: True or Fiction?

It may looks like wrestling is more a dogma than a fact, as there are those who think it is as real as boxing, and on the other hand, there are those who believe that it is as fake as an urban legend.

It´s hard to notice it alive, as we are limited to only one perspective based on our distance from the ring and seat location, but cameras around it have recorded moments that makes us wonder "is this for real?"

It may look that wrestlers receive all the damage on purpose: they just stand still waiting for the opponent hit them with a flying kick or they just stay put to be smashed. According to the believers of the discipline, this is due the know how to receive the punches, skepticals doubt it.

In 1979, on a Christmas show, a wrestler from Jalisco, Sangre India, lost his life when he accidentally hit the back of a seat with his nape. Assistants stared surprised when the medical crew arrived, and they could not save him.

Over the years, there have been several wrestling accidents, that´s right, combatants are on the line every time they jump into a ring, but that doesn't answers the question. At the end of the day, every one believes what their hearts dictates them.
